Obama sculpture featured at Library
Local student and artist Sophie Knoblanche’s caricature of President-Elect Barack Obama is one of many creations currently on display at Mosman Library’s annual Compined Schools Art Exhibition. The Daily wrote a great article about Sophie’s work!
There are also works on display from Mosman High Students and Queenwood Senior students. So come and see some amazing work by your classmates!
The exhibition runs until November 28

HSC Info
If you are doing the HSC in 2009-2012 the theme for English studies is ‘Belonging’.
Here is a great list of books, films, graphic novels, art and even music that fit that theme.
So if you want to get started early (aren’t you studious!?!?) you’ll definately want to bookmark that site.

The first Wednesday of every month we get together to talk
about the books we are reading.
What do you need to bring? Well, nothing really, just think about a book that you have read and be ready to talk about it. How easy is that?

Reading Rave Reminder
Summer is almost over (how did that happen?) and remember that your Reading Rave logs are due back Tuesday 29 January 2008.
There are lots up great prizes up for grabs like movie passes, books, gift vouchers and heaps more so don’t miss out.
The grand prize winner will be selected at random (from those participants who qualify for a high achievement award) at the prize ceremony. And the grand prize is a portable DVD player.
There is still plenty of time, so get reading!!!
