Books In the Wild

A New Zealand Library has come up with a novel way to get students excited about reading.

Waitakere City area teens are invited to ‘hunt’ for books, really hunt for books to read. In the ‘Books in the Wild’ program books are actually hidden around the High School campus for young people to locate and read.

There is also a photo competition involved. Participants are invited to take a shot of one of the books in ‘a wild and wacky location’.
